How Does the Process Work?

Free Quote:

Every clearance is different, and it’s our priority to ensure your needs are fully met. While we can provide quotes based on photos or videos, we prefer to visit the property for a more accurate, no-obligation quote. This visit allows us to discuss the details of the job and provide you with a comprehensive price.

Our quotes cover everything—labour, packing, transport, waste transfer, disposal, and more. With us, there are no hidden fees!

What Happens to the Items We Remove?

No two clearances are the same, and we’ve encountered just about everything. Our team is committed to minimizing our environmental impact. Whenever possible, we will:

What We Are NOT

Caution: It's important to understand that you are legally responsible for your waste.

While other companies may offer similar services, the risks of choosing an unlicensed or disreputable service are real. If waste is disposed of illegally (such as fly-tipping), you, the property owner, could be fined if the waste is traced back to you.

We are not a Rubbish Removal company. Unlike rubbish removal services, which might simply collect and discard waste, we ensure that all cleared items are handled responsibly.

We are also not an Auction House. While auction houses may take valuable items, they will often refuse to clear unwanted or low-value items. We ensure that everything you need cleared is handled.

What Happens on the Day of Clearance?

On the day of your house clearance, our uniformed staff will arrive at the agreed time. We’re happy to meet you or your representative on-site, or we can arrange to collect a spare key to gain access.

Here’s what you can expect:

We’ll carefully box up all items for removal, ensuring that any items you want to keep are left behind.

If needed, our team will load everything into our vans and transport it back to our warehouse for sorting.

Once the property is cleared, we’ll vacuum all floors and leave the space tidy.

If we’ve been given a key, we’ll return it as per our agreement, and we’ll send completion photos if you can’t be there in person to sign off the work.

Licensed and Responsible Waste Disposal

Gibson’s Property Services is a fully licensed waste carrier, registered with the Environmental Agency. This means we handle, transport, and dispose of all waste in full legal compliance. We issue a Waste Transfer Note for every job, so you can rest assured everything is disposed of responsibly.
